Is Buying ANOTHER WoW Guide Worth It?

Building Muscle with Bands and Chains

 

These days it's very trendy to use bands and chains for building muscle and strength. Several years back, I got caught up using chains and bands with almost everyone in my gym. After a couple years of doing this I realized that nobody was progressing any faster than they were before. It occurred to me that what we were doing was overkill and from then on, I kept the chains and bands reserved for only the strongest members of my gym. Now I don't use them at all (or at least in that sense).

The fact is that there is no need to use bands or chains unless you are extremely strong. If your max squat is 225, squatting with bands and chains isn't going to do much for you in the way of building muscle or gaining strength. In fact, it will be detrimental to your progress. Tons of people have gotten inhumanly strong for decades without ever using bands or chains and plenty of guys continue to do so today.

Unless you are capable of doing a full back squat, all the way to ground with no belt and pristine technique with 500lbs, you have absolutely no business using bands or chains. These are advanced tools to pull out of the toolbox only at the times when you really need them. During your first several years of training all you need is a hammer and nail. Don't search deeper in the toolbox for something you don't need yet. If you get to 545lbs and plateau there for a while then maybe it's time to pull out the chains and bands. But not before then. The problem is that when you incorporate advanced methods before you need them you miss out on the potential huge gains that they could provide later on down the road when you really need them.

So layoff the bands and chains until you are really advanced and stick with more tools for building muscle, at least until your strength levels are at the point where the entire gym stops to watch when you squat or deadlift.

8. Do three heavy weeks than take a deload week where you do light work or speed work. Tips 7 & 8 were taught to me at Tampa Barbell.

9. Don't just bench….do your assistance exercises, train all body parts. Top neglected body parts include rear deltoids and lats.

10. Never give up. Failing is part of improving. It's a learning process. Keep your head up, don't get down on yourself for making a mistake. Mistakes are needed to make progress.

A Quick Review of Aion Mastery

I got a copy of the new Aion Mastery guide in my inbox the other day and wanted to give it a whirl so I could share with everyone how it worked. I usually don't spend too much time with these guides, if only because they tend to be underwhelming sooner than later. But, this time around I ended up spending a tremendous amount of time playing around with it to see exactly what I could get out of the guide before I switched back to non-guide playing.

To tell you the truth though, I don't know that I'll switch back. Aion Mastery is a heck of a good guide and it has helped me play so much better than I could possibly have played without it. I'm talking about huge boosts in speed to my play time – cutting up to a dozen hours off my last leveling time from 37-38 alone.

What Else Does It Do?

To top things off, the Aion Mastery guides make sure you're covered for both races, no matter which way you go. Some other guides out there are only for one or another race or only go up to a certain point. But, Aion Mastery is a full guide series up to Level 50 for both races.

But, the best part for me, and the thing I've been using the most of late, is the Kinah guide. It has been extremely useful for me as I'm not a big farmer in these kinds of games, but more than any other game I've seen before, you NEED to have a lot of Kinah in hand to proceed. Your wing upgrades at Level 30 alone cost 1 Million Kinah – that's some serious dough.

My Final Opinion

In the end, I don't think you're going to find any guide on the market that so thoroughly covers everything in Aion as well as Aion Mastery. This thing is downright thorough. The fact that I'm going to keep using it, even after writing this review should tell you enough. That's usually not my cup of tea.

The basics of Photoshop are relatively easy to pick up, but can seem a bit of a mystery when you first come to the program, thanks to its somewhat unintuitive interface and lack of simple tutorials.

The menu bar and toolbox always stay the same, as they contain the different modes and options that you can choose, but the toolbar changes depending on context. The palettes are there to show the current status of your image, including the history of all the actions you have used and a thumbnail overview of how the 'big picture' currently looks.

To demonstrate the way the interface changes as you use it, try selecting the type tool from the toolbox (the one that looks like a capital T). You will see straight away that the toolbar changes entirely to allow you to set font name, font size and so on. In the history palette, your use of the type tool will be added to your history, and a new layer will be created for your text and shown in the layers palette.

Whatever you're trying to do in Photoshop, then, the chances are that your starting point will be either the toolbox or the menus. While the toolbox contains everyday tools such as selecting, filling and making shapes, the menus have more complicated functions like blurring, sharpening, and all the other effects Photoshop can achieve (mostly to be found under the Filter menu). When you have selected a tool from the toolbox, you can alter its settings using the toolbar – options from the menu will generally open a dialog box. My Critical Review On Battlefield 3

The long anticipated release of the battlefield 3 launch has finally made its debut. With all the hype created and surrounding the new launch some would say the final outcome was rather a letdown while others are still enjoying the new release. However for those anticipating both launches the expectations was still leaning towards Modern Warfare 3 outperforming Battlefield 3.
Unfortunately some of the shortcomings were pretty evident very early on after the launch. These short comings included the host of technical glitches and disappointing overall package. The single portion of the game is hardly anything to be challenged about as the fact remains that it is better suited for multiple players. While some would enjoy the challenge of a short game others found the average of five hours at the difficulty setting was hardly enough of a challenge.
For the hard core players that are looking for more destructible environments in the industry of compounded destruction the Battlefield 3 falls short by far. Even with all the newer graphics in place the supposed meaningful destructive platforms are few and far between.
To counter all of the above there are also those that have nothing but excellent reviews in mind when it comes to addressing the battlefield 3 game. Some have concluded it to be simply brilliant. With very Impressive and certainly improved level in all the different aspects it appears to run both smoothly and entertainingly. From the quality of the animations and the fluidity of the movements the eventual results were all true to life. I used to think that someone probably had to draw the logo by hand, but then I learned some very interesting things about creating shapes in Photoshop. I used to think that you could only create standard shapes like ovals, rectangles, squares, and circles. However I recently learned that Photoshop gives you the ability to take these standard shapes and modify them to make new shapes that are very appealing. The way that this is accomplished is by selecting the path of the shape and manipulating it to create a completely new and different shape.

The first thing that you need to do is create a shape like a rectangle or an oval. Then choose the direct selection tool (white arrow), and select the path around the shape. You will know that you have selected the path, because you will see anchor points at the corners of the shape. Once you see the anchor points you will be able to click the anchor points and use them to resize and redesign the shape. The best thing about using paths to change the shape's design is that the shape maintains its crisp lines, and looks just as good as a standard shape. How are you able to do this? The reason these changes are so clean is that the shape is vector based, and not pixel based, so you are able to just manipulate the vectors that comprise the shape. Another great thing about editing a shape in this way is that whatever formatting you have used on the shape will not be affected by modifying the path. If you have a gradient fill on the shape it will be modified as you modify the path of the shape, and it will maintain the same look as before you modified the shape. Now that you know how to modify the path of a shape you are no longer limited by the standard shapes that appear in the tools palette. Use your freedom wisely, and take this new found knowledge to you computer so you can create graphics that everyone else will envy for a change.
